Gillian Zammit is a versatile soprano with a varied repertoire, who trained with Carlo Bergonzi and Victoria de los Angeles. Opera productions include The Turn of The Screw, Rigoletto, Die Zauberflote, and Orphée et Eurydice. She has performed with Joseph Calleja, Andrea Bocelli, Eugene Kohn, and Emma Kirkby among others.


Zammit is highly regarded as a recital singer, having performed Vier letzte lieder, Les nuits d’été, and Les Illuminations with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. She also specializes in Baroque music and performs regularly during the Valletta International Baroque Festival. She also recently performed at the Utrecht Early Music Festival.


Her recordings include The Love Songs of Paolo Tosti with Claudio Records. She has performed in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Armenia, and Romania. Forthcoming engagements include recitals in Russia and the United States.

Britt Arend studied at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Susanna Mildonian, the Hochschule Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Maria Graf, the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. She also attended summer courses at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Mozarteum Salzburg, Festival des Arcs, and Festival of Gargilesse.


A much-admired soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player appearing with some of Europe’s finest orchestras and conductors, she was appointed Principal Harpist of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra in 2008. Memorable orchestral experiences include performing with Kiri Te Kanawa, Bryn Terfel, Joseph Calleja, and Maxim Vengerov and playing at Caracalla Baths (Rome), Wiener Musikverein, Berlin Philharmonie, and Carnegie Hall (New York). Arend and soprano Gillian Zammit have performed extensively together for many years, in Malta and abroad.

Frank Camilleri started studying the cello at a young age under the tutorship of Mro Valeriu Popovici, later continuing his studies with cellist Simon Abdilla Joslin. While attending several masterclasses both in Malta and abroad, Camilleri obtained an Associate in Cello Performance from the London College of Music. In 2006 Camilleri joined the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra as a full-time cellist, occasionally performing as section principal. He has performed with several orchestras in Malta and abroad, namely, the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, the European Union Chamber Orchestra, the European Union Orchestra, and the Mediterranean Orchestra, among others. Currently, Camilleri is a member of the MPO String Quartet and the Cordia String Quartet and also performs with the Valletta International Baroque Ensemble (VIBE). He has also featured as a soloist in various recitals.
