Sally Olson (Ghost Choir) hails from Atlanta, Georgia. She was recently seen as Lucinda in the Midwest premier of Nico Muhly’s Dark Sisters with Third Eye Theatre Ensemble. She has previously appeared as Nannetta (Falstaff), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) and the Fire, the Princess, and the Nightingale (L'enfant et les Sortilege). A singer-actress whose interests span a variety of genres, she appeared as Dolores in the Costa Rican zarzuela Toyupán and joined Brightside Theater as Sue Lawson in the farce Not Now, Darling. Miss Olson has also appeared as Frasquita (Carmen), Suor Dolcina (Suor Angelica), and Betty Paris (The Crucible). An advocate for a strong future for opera, she is the Artistic Administrator for kor/ productions, a local opera company based in Chicago which focuses on adult outreach through non-traditional stagings, interpretations, and performance spaces. Miss Olson holds degrees from the University of Arizona and Georgia State University.
