Jonathan Santore is composer in residence with the New Hampshire Master Chorale, and professor of music at Plymouth State University. He has won prizes and awards for his work including The American Prize in Composition (Choral Division), the American Composers Forum Welcome Christmas! Carol Contest, and an Individual Artist Fellowship from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts. His compositions have been performed by ensembles including VocalEssence, Conspirare, and the Choir of Rochester Cathedral, England; published by Alliance Music, Walton Music, Yelton Rhodes Music, and others; and performed and broadcast nationally and internationally.


He studied composition with Stephen Jaffe, Eugene Kurtz, Donald Grantham, Elaine Barkin, and William Kraft, and holds academic degrees from Duke University, The University of Texas at Austin, and UCLA. His biography is included in recent editions of Marquis Who’s Who in America.



Dan Perkins, conductor, is professor of music and director of choral activities at Plymouth State University. He is co-founder and music director of the New Hampshire Master Chorale and Chamber Orchestra, music director of the Manchester Choral Society and Orchestra, and principal guest conductor and director of choral

activities for the New Hampshire Music Festival.


Perkins holds the degrees Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music in Choral Music from the University of Southern California, and Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Brigham Young University. He continued his studies as a Fulbright scholar in Helsinki, Finland.
