Daniel Ott is a recipient of honors from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the ASCAP Foundation. He has received commissions from the National Symphony Orchestra, New York City Ballet's Choreographic Institute, the Chiara Quartet, and Bargemusic, among others. Ott’s music has been heard all over the world, most notably at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, Sadler’s Wells, the Louvre, the Guggenheim, and the Foro Internacional de Música Nueva in Mexico. He holds degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School, and currently serves on the faculty of both Juilliard and Fordham University. photo: Greg Kessler

88SQUARED

(pianists Jeffrey and Karen Savage) has won the Ellis Piano Duo Competition, the Abild Prize for American Music, and the Special Mention Award at the Concours Grieg International Competition. Their performances have received praise from such publications as Fanfare, American Record Guide, and Singapore’s Straits Times.

 

88SQUARED gave the world premiere of Lowell Liebermann’s Sonata for Two Pianos and subsequently recorded his complete two-piano works for Albany Records. They have appeared at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and have performed internationally in Singapore, Vietnam, India, and Canada. Both received master’s and doctoral degrees from the Juilliard School, and currently serve on the piano faculty at Washington State University School of Music.
